Pressure compensated & non-leakage dripperline.

An ideal dripper line for surface irrigation of Alstroemeria. Even and accurate delivery of water is possible whatever the density of the crop. And, Uniram can be installed in an established crop thanks to a design in which the drippers themselves do not protrude from the tube itself.

The Uniram drippers are clog resistant and self flushing making the tube excellent for use with a long term crop such as Alstroemeria.

Pressure Compensated

Water is delivered through drippers at an even and measured output down the entire length of line. The design ensures that very long run lengths are possible without significant variation of output from one end to the other.

Non-leakage

This ensures that the tube remains charged with water even when the valve is turned off. This results in all drippers starting and stopping simultaneously, ensuring much more accurate water distribution.

Integral Dripper

The labyrinth dripper is entirely enclosed within the wall and so can be pulled through and installed in a mature crop.

Outline specification

Three lines per bed of Uniram tube with drippers at 25 cm dripper spacing is suggested for greenhouse grown Alstroemeria in the UK, assuming a bed width of 1.0 - 1.2 m.

The dripper discharge rate is 2.3 litres/hour giving a net delivery of approx. 9.2 litres/metre/hour, equivalent to our normal specification when using button drippers and 20 mm PE tube.

Prices are comparable to 20 mm PE tube and button drippers.
