A range of thermostats for simple on-off control or more sophisticated variable speed control, primarily used with extractor wall fans.

We do not offer goods for sale over the Internet at present and the catalogue below should be regarded only as a guide prior to making an enquiry. Please read our standard terms and conditions of sale.

Please note that we hold some stock of the circulating fans and SEA step transformers, and most other items will be subject to a lead time of several weeks. There may be an additional charge for carriage on non-stock orders.

T15 WD mechanical thermostat

A simple mechanical thermostat for direct operation of one or more fans up to a maximum of 8 amps load.

T15-2 mechanical  with 2 thermostats

The T15-2 contains 2 thermostats set up to operate a fan within a temperature range. These allow you to set a minimum temperature at which the fan will turn on and a maximum temperature at which the fan will turn off. This can be useful, for example, where it necessary to have fans operating below the threshold for vent opening.

The same thermostat can be used to operate a step transformer so that the fan speed increases as the temperature increases.

By removing the link between the two thermostats it can also be used to control two separate fans from a single position.

T15-4 multistep thermostat

A multistep mechanical thermostat to give increased fan speed with increased temperature when used with an SEA step transformer. The T15-4 will switch at the temperature set on the dial and then with each increase in 1ºC will change to the next position, giving automatic variable speed control.

ETD10-5K multistep thermostat

An electronic 5 step thermostat designed to vary the speed of one or more fans using an SEA step controller so that the difference between the set point and actual air temperature is as low as possible. In addition to the initial set point it is also possible to vary the width of each temperature band between 0 and 2ºC. There are also alarm and heater control options.

Complete with temperature sensor for remote positioning.

ETD10-5K EDD cascade thermostat

An electronic 5 step thermostat which can be connected directly to up to 5 fans to allow them to come on one after another as the temperature increases. Thus at the maximum temperature setting all the fans are running. In addition to the initial set point it is also possible to vary the width of each temperature band between 0 and 2ºC. There are also alarm and heater control options.

Complete with temperature sensor for remote positioning.

The ETD10-5K EDD will switch up to a maximum of 8 amps which must include a 20% allowance for the start_up current above the nominal amperage for the fan shown. Alternatively the fans should be wired through contactors to enable loads over 8 amps to be switched. Please contact us for further details
